1809 Classic Head Cent. Sharpness of AU-50 but dark and porous. The surfaces of this coin are dull and porous, as almost always seen. As most of the planchets were not in great conditon when these coins were struck, few are at the top of the beauty scale today. This one is dark olive, but has nearly Mint State detail.
