1857 N-2 R1 Small Date NGC AU Details Improperly Cleaned. Attractive glossy chocolate brown and steel. May have been recolored long ago but the color and eye appeal of this cent are excellent. A dull nick on the right top of the N in ONE is the only notable mark. MDS with sharp doubling on many of the devices on the reverse (die chatter). Our grade is VF35. Estimate Value $200 - UP
