1832 N-1 R2 VF30. Beautiful glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth and choice. This cent was very skillfully made into a "box" that comes apart by inserting a fingernail into a microscopic slot on the rim. Sorry, nothing inside. We checked. United States Trade Dollars made into boxes were used to carry opium at one time. No idea what this one may have been used to carry. A nice piece that comes from a famous collection.
