Partial Variety Set of Cents, 1842 & 1843. There are 29 pieces grading Good to EF40 with an average grade of Fine. The 1842 group includes 12 pieces with all die varieties N-1 through N-9 except for the N-6; 8 different die varieties plus 4 additional die states/duplicates. There are 17 examples of 1843; 12 different die varieties plus 5 duplicates/die states. The rare 1843 N-17 is VG. A few are slightly sharper with minor defects but most are attractive glossy brown and chocolate with smooth surfaces. All have a clear date. Careful inspection is recommended. Lot of 29 coins.
