1794 S-64 R5- No Fraction Bar VG8. Sharpness VF25 or slightly better but covered with moderate granularity, strongest on the reverse. No marks or verdigris, and the toning is an attractive medium brown and light chocolate with darker chocolate toning in the most-protected areas. LDS, Breen state V. The radial die crack through the D in UNITED is strong and a small chip out of the die fills a portion of the area inside that D. The date is clear and the legends are easily readable in spite of the roughness. The Missing Fraction Bar feature is visible as well, but it is not strong. Removed from an NGC slab graded VF Details Corroded (NGC label #5185345-002 included, and it shows the attribution). Estimate Value $500 - UP
