1857-S. Spiked Shieled. PCGS graded MS-65+. CAC. PQ. A superb untoned gem that offers full blazing mint luster and clean surfaces. One minor bagmark will serve to identify this gem, located just below Liberty's mouth. The eye appeal and lovely quality of this piece will always stand tall. Notably the "spiked shield" refers to a tiny die line extending left off the shield line just below the left wing. Rare and desirable at the gem or finer level as noted here.
