1927 Conditionally Accepted Hand Drawn Design Essay for Unissued Commemorative Joint Issue for Battles of Bennington & Sartoga Sesquicenntenials. Hand drawn in black ink, honoring Generals Stark & Gates and their victories at Bennington & Saratoga, respectively. Drawn by noted artist "Doris Sibley from rough pencil sketch by John Spargo." Hand written notes at bottom give details. Measures 6¾"x5" on and card stock and tipped in on black card backing. Very fine and probably unique. Estimate Value $500 - UP
