Typed letter signed ("Gene Tunney"), on his personal stationery, 1 page, 10 x 7¾", n.p., October 7, 1930. To the Guaranty Trust Company, New York City. With a "Letter Completed and Ready for Filing" stamp dated in pencil "10/7/30" at the lower left, a few blue pencil marks and notes in black ink, a "Guaranty Trust Co. / Custody Division" date stamp on the verso, several staple holes, some of which are slightly torn, and a hole punch obscuring the letter U in "Tunney" printed at the top of the stationery, the text is clear and the signature bold, the letter in very good condition.
