Large, Very Fine, Babe Ruth Signature on Card Stock, Certification by JSA. George Herman "Babe Ruth" (1895-1948) legendary baseball player and one of the most recognized names to ever play the sport. In a career spanning 22 years, Ruth is considered to be the greatest player to have played the game. Offered is a wonderful signature on card stock. What impresses is the size of the signature, almost 3" in length and executed in steel-tip fountain pen, black ink on a card 2½ x 3" and double matted to 4¼ x 6". Paper exhibits minor smudges and toning on signature side, not uncommon given the years but overall was carefully archived over the decades and a fine candidate for an elaborate presentation or framed as is.
