Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Babe Ruth Home Run Special Ball with Certification by JSA. George Herman "Babe" Ruth (1895-1948) and Lou Gherig (1903-1941) signed Babe Ruth Home Run Special ball manufactured by Spalding with orange and blue stitching. Babe Ruth has signed on the sweet spot and signature is fine, bold and legible, executed in steel-tip fountain pen. Just left of Ruth's signature one can find Lou Gehrig's signature. Examined closely his signature is apparent but know it is faint. Both signatures have a light layer of fixative or shellac with no toning. A fantastic piece signed by two legends of baseball; again, Babe Ruth's signature very attractive.
