Two Violinists and a Pianist: Carlo Bassini, Ovide Musin, and Antoinette Adamowski. Carlo Bassini (1812-1870) Italian-born violinist and vocal teacher. Autograph letter signed, "C. Bassini," one page, 9¾ x 8, Brookly, Mar. 26, 1868. To Alfred A. Port, saying he would have helped him if he had been informed and he would be happy to see him at his convenience. One fold split. With Ovide Musin (1854-1929) Belgian violinist and composer. Two autograph letters signed, one page each, 7 x 4½", no place, no date. Both to Mr. Watson, one sending "two tickets for this evening" (not present), and one asking him to come at one the next day, "we shal speak about business and also for my concert in New York…." With Antoinette Szumowska (Mrs. Joseph Adamowski) (1868-1938) Polish pianist who with her busband and brother formed the Adamowski Trio. Autograph letter signed, "Antoinette S. Adamowska (Mrs. J. Adamowski)," 3 pages, 6½ x 5¼", Cambridge (Mass.), Jan. 22, 1921. To the Cambridge Tribune, explaining why they can't subscribe to the paper. In 1921 she resumed her post World War I performing career with a concert in Boston. Estimate Value $200 - UP
