1847. WB-102, Late Die State. PCGS graded AU-58. Nicely toned. The finest example graded at both services as Late Die State for this rare overdate variety WB-102. The base of the original 6 is noted below the 47 in the field, and the base of the 4 has mostly been lapped or worn away. Strong doubling is noted on the shield and LIBERTY, along with diagnostic die cracks on the reverse which confirm this is the rare overdate variety WB-102 and updated to be WB-9.
