Lot 335

1867-S. NGC graded MS-65. The obverse is lightly toned while the reverse is covered with even bluish golden toning. A scarce issue with a mintage of only 140,000 pieces, not many were saved, partcularly in mint state. Here is a prized Gem example which will certainly amaze any specialist. The strike is generally sharp on all but small area of the upper left wreath, but crisp and bold across the entire obverse. An extraordinary coin! Pop 3; 2 finer, 1 in 66, 1 in 67. Estimate Value $7,000 - 7,500

Unsold
