Personal Collection of a NASA Flight Director's Space Related Postal Stamps and Covers From All Over The World. Fine collection of space related postal stamps, a diversion of a NASA Flight Director that would make a perfect starter for any collector of any age. 1.) He filled about one half an album, 30-35 pages with recent stamps celebrating a wide variety of missions both Russian and US. The Russian stamps, around 30, celebrate their early efforts, including Yuri Gargarin and other heroes and the artwork on many is absolutely fantastic. The balance of the stamps in the binder celebrate Gemini, Apollo and Soyuz and come from Panama, Jordan, Aman, The Maldives, Republic of Togo, Liberia, Mongolia and many more, all with striking art work that impress and was never used. 2) Another small folio has about 10 pages of space related stamps all from Russia totaling about 70, all unused. 3) Two file boxes of first day covers totaling 120 virtually all space related with a few honoring science and almost all US first day covers with a handful of Russian first day issues. 4) Finally, a rubber-band-bound collection of mostly US covers (around 40) that are gifts by friends of the Flight Director's, many with notes of appreciation. All in fine condition. Estimate Value $150 - UP
