Two Flown Items on STS-1 and STS-29 Presentated in Lucite. Two commemorative paperweights given to select employees of NASA. The best is from the first flight of the Shuttle Orbiter "Columbia" (STS-1) a segment of a thermal tile which protected the Shuttle on reentry. 2¾ x 3¾" block with a ½ x ½" tile sample with flight director's name printed on COA within lucite. The other is exactly the same size and commemorates the TDRSS Space Network operational with a flown pin that was carried to space aboard The Discovery on STS-29 in March of 1989. Flight director's name is inscribed on lucite. Both in excellent condition. Estimate Value $125 - UP
