21 Vintage, Original 16mm Films from the Late 30s and 40s -- Includes Newsreels of The Hindenburg Explosion, Charles Linbergh & Cartoons. Interesting collection of newsreel footage, featurettes and animated classics including Mickey Mouse. The two largest films at 200 feet reels is the Pathe and Kodak Cinegraph footage of the historic Hindenburg disaster an the Roosevelt Memorial service. The others at about 100 feet are "An Aerial Trip Over New York", Two of Lindbergh on "In Mexico", the other in "Washington and Abroad", Early 20th Century Royals including George V and Queen Mary, The 1935 Grand National, 1948 World Series and many more. Animated films include Mickey Mouse, Kiko The Kangaroo, Simple Simon, Aladdin's Lamp and Mary's Little Lamb. Checking most of the reels, the films appear in very good condition and supple. The original boxes ranging from poor to very good. Estimate Value $150 - UP
