Vintage, Original WWII Poster: "America's Answer! Production" by Jean Carlu -- One of the Greatest WWII Homefront Posters. French artist Jean Carlu (1900-1997) spent World War II in the United States, where he executed a number of important poster designs. This poster was designed for the U.S. government's war effort at home. It earned Carlu the top award from the New York Director's Club Exhibition in 1941 and remains today a favorite of collectors. We are pleased to offer a vintage, original example of this poster, rolled, never folded, in Fine condition. A small "bite" missing from the lower right corner and a couple of edge chips at lower right are the only blemishes (easily matted out) on this otherwise superb poster. 38 x 30".
