Celtic, Eastern Europe. Imitating Thasos. Silver Tetradrachm (16.38 g), Late 2nd-1st century BC. 2-piece lot. Wreathed head of young Dionysos right. Reverse: Devolved legend, Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club, arm draped with lion's skin. OTA class III. Struck on a huge flan. Toned. Together with another example, this with a large flan crack nearly completely thru the flan. Lot of 2 coins. Very Fine. Estimate Value $250 - 300
