Lot 20

Quartet of PCGS Details-graded Colonial Coppers. Includes 1723 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny VG detail with environmental damage, 1773 Virginia Halfpenny without Period VF detail cleaned, 1787 Massachusetts Cent Ryder 3-G Rarity-3 F detail scratch, and 1788 Vermont Ryder-13 R1 Double Struck F detail with environmental damage. All have a readable date, and clear evidence of the double strike is present on the obverse of the Vermont (which has details closer to EF than Fine in our opinion). Inspection recommended. The Vermont is from Richard Picker (Picker sales envelope included).
