1875-S/CC. NGC graded MS-61. FS-501, Type I Reverse. Evenly toned on both sides. Clear "CC" over mintmark. Toned with pleasing shades of lilac gray on the obverse and reverse. It is estimated that about 300 pieces are known of this blundered mintmark, but the majority are circulated. Finding a mint state coin is a challenge, and this piece will stand tall in any advanced collection. Pop 7; 12 finer at NGC for the variety. Estimate Value $4,000 - 4,200
