Dennis Eckersley Signed 300th Save Ball 5/24/95, Signed COA & Signed Ticket. Dennis Eckersley (Cy Young Winner and the American League's Most Valuable Player in 1992) recorded his career save number of 300 in Major League Baseball on May 24, 1995 against the Baltimore Orioles at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. In this lot is that ball which he has signed, dated and noted 300th Save. He has also signed a SkyBox ticket from the game which is slabbed and mounted atop lucite ball case. Further Eckersley typed and signed on Oakland Athletics letterhead a letter of authenticity for the ball dated February 6, 1996. Finally included are two unused tickets for a different game at McAfee Coliseum against Seattle. Eckersley's #43 was retired by the Oakland Athletics in 2005. Estimate $500 - UP
