Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 100

Lot 1432

1920-S. PCGS graded MS-62. A nice white coin that shows just a couple of trivial copper splashes common to gold coinage of this era. The strike is sharp and the surfaces attractive with minimal signs of bag handling. For identificaiton there is a shallow nick on Liberty`s thigh on the left facing the coin. Clearly not many from the original mintage of well over half a million coins are known today. Only 100 to 150 examples estimated to have survived according to PCGS Pop Report. Pop 16; 30 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 9171) Estimate Value $50,000 - UP
