Half Dollar. 1859-O. PCGS graded MS-66. One of the very finest known of the date, PCGS has only graded 3 this high, and one can see why, the surfaces are a delight, frosty and lustrous, all graced by a delicate rainbow of colors around the periphery. Satiny luster in the fields, and boldly struck, with each star showing complete radial lines. Although a common date, this coin is decidedly uncommon in its near-perfect status. If you need a true gem Mint State 66 then look no further than this lot.
