Lot 608

1848 N-28 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty steel brown and light olive with traces of mint color on the obverse and at least 5% of the reverse showing mint red. The only notable marks are two diagonal nicks left of star 11 and two spots of darker toning under the first A in AMERICA. MDS, die state b. A few of the die lines connecting ON to EN are still visible, but they are weak. Our grade is MS60. Comes with a nice provenance. Estimate Value $400 - UP
