1837 N-5 R2 Small Letters PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Very attractive glossy light to medium chocolate brown. Smooth and nearly flawless. The only notable defect is a minor planchet lamination that affects the dentils above TAT in STATES. LDS. There are die cracks on both sides and a dull but clearly visible wave extending from the second S in STATES passing under OF to the first A in AMERICA. A neat die state. Our grade is EF45+. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 8 finer for the variety. PCGS #37144. Estimate Value $300 - UP
