Lot 325

1832 N-1 R2 Medium Letters PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Very attractive lustrous bluish steel and olive brown. Peeps of very faded mint color can be found with some effort. The surfaces are satiny and nearly flawless, and the eye appeal of this cent is outstanding. The best identifying mark, and it is barely visible, is a very thin diagonal planchet chip under the left end of the line below CENT (as struck). MDS. The die lines from the leaf tip below the first A in AMERICA are dull but visible. Our grade is MS62+, close to MS63. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
