1795 C-2a R3 Punctuated Date, Lettered Edge VF20. Five points sharper but very lightly cleaned and retoned glossy chocolate brown and steel. A tiny rim bruise at the second A in AMERICA is the only notable mark, and it is trivial. MDS, Manley state 2.0. A subtle bulge shows in the field before the face and the bulge through MER is strong. Sharply struck and nicely centered. The date, punctuation, and legends are all bold. Weight 107.7 grains.
