Lot 1070

1920-S. NGC graded MS-66. Lovely golden toning. The 1920-S Buffalo nickel is probably the second toughest date and mint to find of the non-varieties to secure in Mint State-65 or finer, behind only the 1926-S. This monumental coin should be the focus of any specialist of this series who demands top quality and strong visual appeal. An incredible coin and one that will be a major focus in any advanced collection. Pop 3; none finer at NGC. Tied for the finest example graded at both services.
Estimated Value $30,000 - 34,000.

Realized $38,775
