1838 N-1 R1. PCGS graded MS-66 Brown. CAC Approved. Choice highly lustrous bluish steel brown and light olive with mint red in protected areas on both sides. Satiny mint frost covers the planchet, even the highest points of the devices, giving this cent outstanding eye appeal. This cent is flawless except for a very light horizontal nick on the jaw. MDS. The fields are covered with microscopic radial die flowlines and there is a narrow rim cud break at star 1. The repunching on the peak of the 1 remains clear. A beautiful cent. Our grade is MS65. The attribution and Ralls provenance are shown on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; none finer. (PCGS # 37180) .
Estimated Value $1,500-UP.
