1817 N-3 R2. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. CAC Approved. Very attractive lustrous steel brown and chocolate with frosty mint red covering 10% of the obverse, 20% of the reverse. Great eye appeal. The only marks are a subtle spot of slightly darker reddish chocolate toning over star 2 and a darker one on the left top of the second T in STATES. E-MDS, before the "Mouse" break on top of the head. The void at the bottom of the 8 in the date is clear. Called MS63 in the Bland census. Our grade is MS63 as well. The attribution and Ralls provenance are shown on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 3 finer, 2 in 65, 1 in 65+. (PCGS # 36556) .
