Lot 1886

1907. Flat Relief, Arabic Numerals. PCGS graded MS-66. Frosty with lovely golden toning. Sun-fresh gold, indeed glowing with gold satin luster, and fully radiant with a near-perfect strike for the No Motto design (which, by its nature, has a more flattened look to it than the following, 1908-33 With Motto dates). Taking stock of another key aspect of the grade, this piece has wonderful originality throughout, including centers, rather than a bagmarked appearance as most often seen on the 1907 issue. Pop 344; 25 finer, 10 in 66+, 14 in 67, 1 in 67+ (PCGS # 9141) .
Estimated Value $3,500 - 3,700.

Realized $6,038
