Lot 2115

1893-CC. NGC graded MS-62. Light golden toning and frosty. Only 18,402 struck this last year of issue. A lustrous-fresh beauty. Level, rolling luster with splashes of rich gold mingle on the select surfaces. We note an absence of readily identifiable marks on the obverse (which is unusual, and gives this specimen an advantage over others). For its part the reverse is equally attractive, equally lustrous, and endowed with the same pleasing natural color acquired over more than a century. Pop 160; 20 finer, 19 in 63, 1 in 64 (PCGS # 9023) .
Estimated Value $9,000 - 10,000.

Realized $14,375
