1805 C-3 R4 Small 5 With Stems VG8. Attractive glossy olive brown and chocolate. Looks perfectly smooth to the unaided eye, but a good glass reveals traces of extremely fine roughness in the protected areas. In addition there was a bit of light smoothing done on the cheek, in the hair right of the ribbon, and in the field above the bust tip, but it is difficult to see. This cent has nice eye appeal for the grade, but it would rate a couple more grade points if not for the imperfections.
