Lot 1183

1846-D. PCGS graded EF-45. Mostly untoned. Only 19,303 minted of which only 200 examples are estimated to have survived. About as nice as the average collector on a strict budget can reasonably hope to acquire for an 1846-D--combining a generous measure of eye appeal with a strong EF grade, certainly among the top ones at that level and in terms of complete satisfaction, quite possibly finer than some graded higher. Pop 27; 72 finer (PCGS # 7742) .
Estimated Value $1,700 - 1,800.
The William H & Beuelaress K. Helem Collection.

Realized $2,530
