Further, the strike is crisp in most areas, weíd like to say 100% bold, though some lack of detail may be noted at the breast feathers and horizontal lines in the shield "chief." Full E PLURIBUS UNUM on the scroll, however. The eagles head is ill defined, as are a few stars nearest the head. As they lie opposite the highest hair waves on Liberty from the opposing die, there often wasnít enough die oomph! to send the metal flowing into the deepest recesses of the dies in these areas.
