1804 C-8 R1 Spiked Chin VG7. Double Struck with Small Offset. Very slightly sharper but the surfaces are covered with extremely faint roughness. No verdigris and only a few light contact marks, including a dull nick on the top of the A in HALF. Slightly glossy bluish steel brown and chocolate. Double struck with a small shift of less than a half millimeter to K-4. Sharp, clear doubling shows on both sides, especially on the date, down the left side of the portrait, and on the wreath. The "Spiked Chin" feature is weak but visible. Davy #04.8.19.
