1882. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. A nice white near-gem Proof. Only 1,097 struck for this Proof only year and we are happy to see that it offers the viewer a display of deep mirror reflection whose contrasting white frost on the devices serves to define the "Cameo" statement appended to the holder. 1882 was near the tail-end of this short series (1873-83 -- or 84/85 if you wish to count the two fantasy dates). Always popular due to its handsome appearance and balanced designs. Pop 35; 13 finer (PCGS # 87062) .
