Lot 711
1809/6 C-5 R1 Overdate 9 over 6 EF45. Glossy dark steel and chocolate brown with traces of frosty luster remaining in protected areas. The only notable defect is a microscopic speck of reddish verdigris above the L in HALF. Nicely struck E-MDS, Manley state 1.0. The 9 over 6 feature (actually a 9 over inverted 9) is obvious.
