A desirable superb quality coin, this example displays almost enthralling untoned golden surfaces, with sharp detail aplenty. Final year of the type. The Coinage Act of 1890 abolished the gold dollar, the $3 gold piece, the three-cent nickel, as well as standardized mint processes.
