Lot 854

1914-D Lincoln Cent. NGC graded MS-63 Red. Housed in a First Generation Holder. Lots of mint red. A lustrous example that has muted but full coppery luster. Meticulous strike on every device, including hair waves and bow tie; only some of the beard and cheek definition shows any rounding. As a group, the 1914-D cents range from average to sharper than average. They are seldom seen with the level of definition found on the early P-mint Lincoln cents. Minor obverse flyspecks in the left field (PCGS # 2473) .
Estimated Value $2,500 - 2,700.

Realized $3,680
