1936 Lynchburg Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Delicate soft pastel tones adds to its appeal. Carter Glass, depicted here, was a newspaper publisher and American politician from Lynchburg, Virginia. He was a key figure in developing the U.S. legislation which created the system of Federal Reserve Banks in 1913 (PCGS # 9324) .
