Lot 1345

1892-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. CAC approved. Quite frosty and primarily toned. There are several CC-mint Morgan Dollars (such as the 1882-1884 issues) which are easily obtainable in Gem MS65 grade. The 1892-CC is not. This isn't to say average Mint State examples are rare, but, observation tells us that most survivors are noticeably bagmarked. With clear frosty surfaces that are free of noticeable blemishes, the present specimen is among the handsomest Gem MS65 '92-CC Dollars you will see offered for sale this year. The eye appeal from the lustrous surfaces is improved further by the intense white color left by the dies. Lastly, a very sharp strike is also worthy of praise. Pop 278; 20 finer, 18 in 66, 2 in 67 (PCGS # 7214) .
Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000.

Realized $7,763
