Lot 1126

1913 Barber Half Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 67. Lovely rainbow toning. Only 627 Proofs issued. The Superb Gem offered in this lot is one of a baker's dozen 1913 Proofs with the coveted 67 designation! The reasons for this are plain to see. One, gorgeous iridescent toning spreading inwards from the borders, with each side nicely corresponding to the other. Two, a bold strike yields the definition on all design elements a coin of this caliber deserves. And three, faultless quality is seen on both sides, no marks, not spots, faultless. These attributes produce a level of eye appeal which seems impossible to top. Pop 13; none finer at PCGS (PCGS # 6560) .
Estimated Value $6,000 - 7,000.

Realized $8,625
