Lot 2058

1871 Quarter Dollar Round Liberty. Breen and Gillio-862. High Rarity 6. PCGS graded MS-66. A sensational gem example of this elusive variety. Truly an unbelievable coin! Golden-orange sunset hues and prooflike fields warrant spirited bidding. Could be a run-a-way! A sharp and appealing specimen of a fairly rare and definitely desirable issue, one that will no doubt go to a new cabinet after a serious run-up of bidding activity. Discovered by Jay Rowe in 1978. Pop 1; none finer at PCGS (PCGS # 10723) .
Estimated Value $1,600 - 1,700.
The Tom Kelly Collection.

Realized $3,105
