1867 $20 Liberty. PCGS graded MS-61. A nice frosty coin with the usual assortment of light surface marks on the cheek and in the fields. The 1867 issue owes its availability in this condition to the discovery of overseas hoards that have revealed significant amounts of Mint State coins. A popular Type 1 date with collectors since the luster is always vibrant and frosty. You might want to wear sun glasses when viewing it under a strong incandescent light!
