1903 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 68 Cameo. A fully white gem. Unforgettably beautiful lightly frosted motifs and deep-mirrored fields form a pleasing cameo contrast, especially on the reverse. Entirely brilliant with just outstanding beauty in a Morgan silver dollar of this vintage. Typically seen without cameo details, as the die preparation was plainly different than the two-tone frosted Proofs of earlier years, particularly the Morgan dollar Proofs of the 1890s where heavy frost on the motifs was the rule of thumb. A pleasing Superb Gem with extraordinary eye appeal at this grade level, and among the finest Proofs certified within any designation by NGC.
