1853 Dollar Octagonal. PCGS graded AU-58. Well struck and lightly toned. A very attractive 1 Dollar piece in which all of the main features on Liberty are clearly displayed. The 13 stars are arranged 6 + 7 in a balanced arrangement. The date and denomination reside within a circle of dots. "N" at bottom flanked by two stars (for the manufacturer, Nouzillet). Pop 104; 88 better (PCGS # 10507) .
