Lot 144

1804 C-6 R2. VF-35. Spiked Chin. Choice glossy light chocolate brown with a small splash of slightly lighter brown toning at the top of the wreath. EDS, Manley state 1.0, Braig state 1.2 early. Die cracks pass through much of the reverse legend, and an extremely faint crack extends toward the dentils from the bottom of the second 0 in the denominator. Great eye appeal for the grade and the earliest die state that you can reasonably expect to find for the variety (the preceding lot is extremely unusual).
Estimated Value $300 - 400.
Ex Chris McCawley 9/91.

Realized $776
