1797 C-1 R2. VG-10. 1 above 1 variety. Choice glossy chocolate brown. Flawless surfaces, a perfect example in every respect. The date is bold and the legends are strong. The 1 above 1 feature is obvious. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0. This is the Cohen plate coin for the variety in his first edition of the half cent book. This lot comes with a hardbound, autographed copy of the Chris McCawley fixed price list of February 1993 in which this piece is illustrated with a full page color photo.
