Lot 1818

1913 Lincoln Cent. PCGS graded MS-66 Red. Old green holder. Nice bold strike. Even the tiniest curls are visible on Lincoln's hair on this sharp P-mint release from the year 1913. The full face is spot-free and glowing mint red color. An outstanding coin, pure and simple, which appears in high relief compared to today's cents. Modern methods have changed the look of the Lincoln cent to the point where it is a caricature of the man, and not for the better. Pop 58; 4 finer in 67. (PCGS # 2461) .
Estimated Value $1,600 - 1,800.

Realized $2,160
